Discounts


The following transport privileges are granted on long-distance shuttle busses:

  • Right of free-of-charge riding;
  • Right of acquisition of a ticket to ride at a discount.

Each passenger has the right to carry two children under 7 years of age free of charge without occupying a separate seat.

The right of acquisition of a single use ticket for riding on long-distance shuttle busses at a discount of 80% is granted to:

  • Persons with an established invalidity category, or persons recognized as invalid children before 1 July 2005, and the persons accompanying them (one accompanying person for one invalid person);
  • Persons recognized as disabled, persons of retirement pension age, for which a category of large special needs is established in accordance with legal acts, persons recognized as I category invalids before 1 July 2005, and the persons accompanying them (one accompanying person for one invalid person);
  • Persons suffering from diseases recorded on a list compiled by the Ministry of Health the treatment of which requires continuous haemodialysis, and the persons accompanying them (one accompanying person for one sick person);
  • Persons aged 80 and older persons;
  • Defenders of independence of the Republic of Lithuania recognized as partially disabled or having reached the retirement pension age, for which a category of medium special needs is established in accordance with legal acts (recognized as II or III category invalids before 1 July 2005) due to the 11-13 January 1991 and further aggression on the part of the USSR;
  • Members of the families of the perished defenders of independence of the Republic of Lithuania suffered from the 11-13 January 1991 and further aggression on the part of the USSR;
  • Participants of resistance to occupations of 1940-1990 – volunteer soldiers aged 70 and older.

The right of acquisition of a single use ticket for riding on long-distance shuttle busses at a discount of 50% is granted to:

  • Persons recognized as partially disabled or having reached the retirement pension age, for which a category of medium special needs is established in accordance with legal acts (recognized as II category invalids before 1 July 2005);
  • Participants of resistance to occupations of 1940-1990 – volunteer soldiers under 70 years of age, and fighters for freedom;
  • Persons suffered from occupations of 1939-1990 – political prisoners and deportees, former prisoners of ghettos, concentration and forced labour camps of other types;
  • Defenders of independence of the Republic of Lithuania suffered from the 11-13 January 1991 and further aggression on the part of the USSR;
  • Persons of 70 through 80 years of age;
  • A third and more children under 7 years of age carried on public transport;
  • Children of 7 through 10 years of age carried on public transport;
  • Full-time students of higher educational institutions, citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and other member-states of the European Union which are full-time students of higher educational institutions in the member-states of the European Union, on presentation of an ISIC certificate (International Student Identity Card), and full-time students of vocational training institutions;
  • Students of the National Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis School of Arts and conservatories.

According to Part 3 of Article 21 of the Road Transport Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the right of using privileges on public transportation is granted to the persons on presentation of documents confirming this right
