RULES OF CONDUCT FOR VISITORS OF THE VILNIUS BUS STATION

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. The Rules of Conduct for Visitors to the Premises and/or Territory of UAB Vilniaus Bus Station (hereinafter – VAS, VAS Manager) (hereinafter – the Rules) shall determine the procedure for visitors’ behaviour on the premises and/or territory of VAS. These Rules are drawn up by the Manager of the VAS and are applicable to visitors, employees, persons carrying out economic and commercial activities, as well as to companies, institutions, organisations, citizens’ initiative groups and other entities intending to carry out any activity on the premises or territory of the VAS, its accesses or any other part of the VAS land. The application of these Rules is based on the right of the manager of the VAS to administer, manage and dispose of the property belonging to it at its own discretion and on the duty of the manager of the VAS to ensure public order, the safety of visitors to the VAS and the people working therein, and the legitimate interests of the persons conducting economic and commercial activities in the VAS.

2. The rules apply to any person entering, entering or remaining on the premises and grounds of the VAS. The premises and the territory of the VAS are equipped with video surveillance systems to ensure the security of the Premises and/or the Territory Manager, employees and third parties (visitors) and their property, to prevent violations of the law and to facilitate the investigation of such incidents and accidents. Visitors’ personal data recorded by video surveillance systems shall be handled responsibly and in strict compliance with the requirements of applicable data protection legislation. 3. The Rules of Conduct for Visitors to the premises and/or territory of the VAS are available at the premises/territory of the VAS and on the website www.autobusustotis.lt.

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR VISITOR BEHAVIOUR

3.1 Visitors may only enter the premises of the VAS through specially designated and equipped entrances/exits and may only be present during the VAS opening hours from 4:00 to 24:00. Visitors are not allowed to enter the VAS through service or technological entrances;

3.2 Visitors are obliged to obey the lawful instructions of the VAS staff (administration), security guards, and/or other persons authorised to ensure security in the premises and territory of the VAS and to comply with the warning signs, instructions, or other indications in the premises and territory of the VAS;

3.3. the use of the toilet on the premises of the VAS, which is marked with a handicapped sign, is restricted to persons with reduced mobility;

3.4. Visitors are obliged to take personal care for the health/life and property safety of themselves and their children, in particular minors, and other accompanying persons, and to behave in such a way as to avoid endangering themselves, others and other visitors (not to cause harm, not to violate their rights and legitimate interests). In the event of observing actions and/or events, circumstances which may cause/have caused damage to the health, life, property of the visitor(s) or other persons, visitors are obliged to immediately inform the VAS staff (administration) and/or security staff.

3.5 Visitors are strictly prohibited from:

3.5.1. to bring weapons, including cold weapons, alcoholic beverages, narcotic, psychotropic substances, flammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive substances, as well as any other substances that may cause danger to other visitors, persons working at the VAS, or to the VAS premises, territory itself;

3.5.2. damage, break or otherwise harm the property of the VAS, including vegetation;

3.5.3. to enter service premises or enclosed areas of the VAS not intended for visitors, areas additionally marked with warning signs “VAS staff only”, etc;

3.5.4. litter and/or pollute in the premises of the VAS, sanitary facilities (toilets for visitors, etc.), territory of the VAS;

3.5.5. climb, sit, lift or place children, in particular minors, on structures or installations not intended for that purpose (facades, partitions, barriers, lighting poles, stairs, roofs, windowsills, etc.), stands for the storage of advertising printed matter;

3.5.6. take food to the VAS passenger waiting area and eat in the VAS passenger waiting area;

3.5.7. take, consume, use, test, try, measure, etc., foodstuffs and other non-food items into the sanitary facilities (e.g. toilets) of the VAS;

3.5.8. consume alcoholic beverages, psychotropic or narcotic substances on the premises and/or territory of the VAS, or be drunk or under the influence of psychoactive substances on the premises and/or territory of the VAS;

3.5.9. ride roller skates, scooters, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, etc. 5.9.5.5. or any other type of vehicle (e.g., a bicycle, a bicycle, a motorcycle, a bicycle, etc.), or any other type of vehicle (e.g., a bicycle, a bicycle, a bicycle or a wheelchair);

3.5.10. Bring animals (dogs, cats, ferrets, etc.) onto the VAS premises, except for specially trained guide dogs, animals. Animals may only be carried in a specially designed container, ensuring that the container in which the animal is carried does not obstruct the passage of other visitors/passengers of the VAS, is not cluttered, does not stain the seats in the waiting area, or the clothing of visitors/passengers;

3.5.11. offer for sale cosmetics, souvenirs, beverages, foodstuffs, clothing, merchandise, promotional merchandise and other commercial goods and/or services of any kind on the premises or on the grounds of the VAS, without the prior written permission of the VAS Administration;

3.5.12. distribute on the premises or within the premises of the VAS any advertising leaflets, flyers, leaflets and/or other information/promotional material not initiated by the Manager of the VAS, without the prior written permission of the VAS Administration;

3.5.13. 5.5.13. to organise any rallies, meetings and/or other similar events on the premises or territory of the SAC without the prior written permission of the SAC management;

3.5.14. 5.5.14. organize advertising, surveys, signature gathering and/or other campaigns for the visitors of the VAS, as well as any other aggressive economic-commercial activities directed towards the visitors of the VAS, which have not been previously agreed in writing with the VAS administration;

3.5.15. 5.5.15. it is forbidden to film, photograph or otherwise collect information for commercial purposes in the premises and territory of the VAS without the separate written permission of the VAS administration.

4. Vehicles are parked in VAS car parks in accordance with the requirements and restrictions of the signs. Bicycles and other non-motorised vehicles shall be parked only in designated areas of the site marked with warning signs.
5. The parking of motorised vehicles on the pavement on the front side of the VAS for the purpose of disembarking/embarking passengers, unloading/loading goods or for any other purpose is prohibited.
6. Vehicular traffic and parking shall comply with the requirements of the road traffic rules. Vehicles shall be parked in the car parks of the VAS in accordance with the requirements and restrictions of the signs erected and the parking spaces provided on the site shall not be used for the parking of cars or other vehicles for which no special permit has been issued. Bicycles and other non-motorised vehicles shall be parked only in designated areas of the site marked with warning signs. Visitors to the VAS must observe the rules of the road and not leave their vehicles parked on the approaches to the VAS territory, in the zone of validity of the road signs, in the parking areas without a special permit. The VAS Manager reserves the right to modify the parking arrangements set out in these rules.

7. In case of discovery of unclear, unattended objects, explosive, chemical or radioactive materials, visitors are requested to immediately report this to the VAS administration and/or security staff. Until the arrival of the VAS security staff and/or other services, cordon off the hazardous area and do not undertake any containment and decontamination operations yourself.
8. The VAS administration shall have the right to close the VAS premises and/or area (or any part thereof) immediately, without any prior warning, if there is a threat to the safety, health or life of the VAS, its employees, visitors and other persons, including in the event of fire, explosion, gas leakage or other danger, in order to avoid possible damage.

 

FINAL PROVISIONS

9. Every visitor entering the premises and/or the territory of the VAS automatically acknowledges that he/she has read these Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
10. The VAS staff, security personnel or the VAS manager shall have the right to inform/warn of compliance with the Rules and of possible violations, to ask the person committing illegal or potentially illegal acts to leave the VAS premises and/or territory and to take other necessary and lawful measures to safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of the VAS, its employees, visitors and/or other persons

11. In the event of a criminal offence (e.g. theft, hooliganism) being committed or possibly committed, the administration of the VAS, the manager of the VAS and/or security staff shall notify the law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Lithuania.
12. The Rules have been drawn up in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Lithuania. If any provision of the Rules becomes contradictory to the current legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, the other provisions of the Rules shall remain valid.
